Production notes: Rwenzori Mountains for Challenge 21
Part of the challenge of this trip was the weather that was a mixture of rain, sleet, snow, fog and wind. On top of all that the trail was the deepest, steepest mud/bog we have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Nonetheless, the Canon cameras we used to shoot stills an video worked flawlessly in all these conditions. With the help of our trusty guides, most notably “Moses”, we were able to leap frog the team as they worked their way from base camp to the summit of Mt. Stanley at 16,700 feet mostly because of the lightweight/portable gear we chose for this shoot.
